Julian Goldie Agent OS GitHub: Where The Real Agent OS Lives, And How To Install It

By Julian Goldie · 9 October 2026 · agentos.guide

A glowing AI agent dashboard with agent cards, a shared memory vault and a task board, sitting behind a locked door marked members only, while an empty GitHub repository window fades out beside it

The Julian Goldie Agent OS GitHub repo does not exist, because my Agent OS is not on public GitHub and it is only available inside the AI Profit Boardroom as an installable download with step-by-step guides.

I get asked about it every day by people who have seen the dashboard in my videos.

This quick start shows you what the Agent OS is, what is inside, how members install it, how it fits a daily workflow, and which free projects you can grab from GitHub instead.

Is the Julian Goldie Agent OS on GitHub?

No, the Julian Goldie Agent OS is not on GitHub, and I have not published its source anywhere public.

Here is everything you need to know in one table.

If a GitHub page calls itself "the Julian Goldie Agent OS", it is not from me.

What I do share for free is the method, and my AI Agent OS build guide shows the exact prompts I used to build mine.

What the Agent OS is

The Agent OS is my AI agent operating system, which means one dashboard where every agent lives, shares one memory and picks up work from one task board.

I built it in mid-2025, when I moved from teaching SEO tactics to running AI agents that do the SEO for me.

It runs a crew that includes Claude Code, Hermes, Codex, Gemini, OpenClaw, Kimi and GLM.

Every one of them reads from and writes to the same Obsidian vault.

The problem it solves is the tab problem, where you are the glue between a dozen AI tools that never remember you.

The fix is three pieces, which are one screen, one shared memory and one task board.

Part of the Agent OSWhat it does in your day
Mission ControlIt shows every agent's live status, model and current job on one screen.
Unified chatIt gives every agent the same chat box, so you switch agents with one click.
Shared memoryAn Obsidian vault feeds every agent your business context and saves what they learn.
Kanban boardAgents pick up task cards, work in parallel and move finished jobs to Done.
Hermes deskOne Hermes agent covers chat, voice, Oracle, Astros, Studio, Sessions, Outreach, Mixture, Workspace, MCPs, Manage, Control Room and Goal Mode.
WorkspaceEvery app, image, video and audio file an agent builds previews inline.
Free Claude CodeIt runs Claude Code tooling through OpenRouter so routine jobs cost very little.
Studio and researchIt handles images, voice and video, and pulls NotebookLM assets into the dashboard.
Mobile accessTailscale opens your whole dashboard on your phone through a private network.

Julian Goldie Agent OS quick start

This is the fastest route from joining to a working dashboard.

If you would rather not touch anything, open Claude Code or Codex in the folder and ask it to follow the Setup With AI playbook.

That is how I install most things now, and the playbook stops to ask you before anything that needs a paid account or a key.

Here is what is inside the pack, file by file.

File in the packWhat it is for
Start Agent OSOn a Mac, it checks Node.js, installs once and opens the dashboard.
Check My SetupIt shows which features are ready and never prints your keys.
Update Agent OSIt backs up your old code, installs the new pack and never touches your config, keys or vault.
README and disclaimerThey are the start-here files, including a plain-English security section.
Setup With AIIt is a playbook Claude Code or Codex can follow, and it stops to ask before anything paid.
Implementation checklistIt is the tick-box list that gets a new install running.
30-day roadmapIt tells you what to set up each day, with memory first, agents next and automation last.
Numbered install docsEach tab, from Hermes to video, music, leads and the AI-news radar, has its own guide.

How the Agent OS fits your daily workflow

The download is the easy part, so here is how it slots into a working day.

In the morning, Mission Control shows me what every agent did overnight.

Oracle, a named Hermes agent, has already checked my competitors and the news and written a short report into the vault.

I drop a batch of cards on the Kanban board, such as "draft the outline", "check indexing" and "pull this week's numbers".

Then I go to the gym, and the agents work through the cards in parallel.

When I come back, the work is in Done, with notes in the vault explaining what happened.

During the day, I say "hey Hermes" out loud and get a spoken answer in about five seconds, saved to the same chat thread.

My SEO content publishes across five websites through Claude Code, with schema and indexing handled in the same run.

Anything an agent builds lands in the workspace, so I never hunt through folders again.

When I travel, I open the same dashboard on my phone through Tailscale.

The rule that makes all of this work is manual, then assisted, then automated.

Do a task by hand with the agent until you would sign your name to the output, then save it as a workflow, then hand it to an agent.

How the memory makes it compound

The memory layer is the piece almost everyone skips, and it is the one that matters most.

My vault passed 1,200 memories in its first month, and my Hermes desk has saved over 1,000 sessions.

Every agent reads that context before it works, so a fresh chat already knows the goal I set on Monday.

It is plain text files on your own machine, so you own it, and any new agent can be pointed at it on day one.

If you want the thinking behind this, my 3-Layer Hermes OS guide explains the brain, cockpit and memory layers.

How to keep it updated

On a Mac, Update Agent OS finds the newest pack in your Downloads folder and checks the version number.

It backs up your old code, installs the new one, rebuilds and restarts, and it never touches your config, keys or vault.

On Windows and Linux, the Update With AI guide lets Claude, Codex or Cursor do the same job, and it backs up first.

Every pack carries a changelog, so you can see what is new, what is fixed and what is improved.

Why the Agent OS is not a public repo

It is the members' version.

I share it inside the AI Profit Boardroom together with the docs, videos, updates and coaching that help people get it running.

I have not published its source on GitHub, and the free guides on this site teach the method instead.

Watch out for fake Agent OS repos

When I searched GitHub on 9 October 2026, I found a few community repos that mention my name or the Agent OS.

None of them is published by me, and none of them is the members' pack.

Free open-source alternatives on GitHub

If you want to start free from GitHub, these three projects are worth installing, and I have written guides on each.

Free projectGitHub repoWhat it gives youHow it fits next to an Agent OS
Hermes AgentNousResearch/hermes-agentThe open-source long-running agent from Nous Research, under the MIT licence. It is the agent behind my Hermes desk, so it is the best free first install.
Herald OSiamlukethedev/Herald-OSAn alpha operating system with Hermes Agent as its interface, under the MIT licence. My automations synced across Herald OS and my Agent OS, because the same Hermes runs underneath.
StarNetandrooAGI/starnetA local-first pixel-art agent station, under the MIT licence.I built StarNet into my own Agent OS as a tab, because it is fun to run agents in.

My Herald OS guide walks through every screen, and my StarNet GitHub guide shows how to get the station running.

Herald OS is alpha software from an independent developer, Luke The Dev, and it is not affiliated with Nous Research.

StarNet is the most fun agent add-on I have tested, but I do not think it has a massive number of practical use cases yet.

Limits to know before you install

Your home internet is the speed limit when you open the dashboard remotely, so expect a slight delay from far away.

A power cut at home takes the dashboard offline, so a second copy on a travel laptop is a smart backup.

Your Mac must have "prevent automatic sleeping when display is off" switched on, or your agents stop with the screen.

Running it does not have to be expensive, because everyday work can run on free local models and the heavy jobs use the subscriptions you already pay for.

If you already pay for Claude, the Claude CLI comes with that subscription, and the Agent OS plugs straight into it.
