Link Building Service Reviews: Where They Live, How To Check Them And How Your Agent OS Reads Them

By Julian Goldie · 27 October 2026 · agentos.guide

A dark dashboard where small agent icons pull review cards, video thumbnails and case study charts into one shared memory panel, with one provider card highlighted in gold at the top of a ranked column

Link building service reviews only help when you know where they live and how much weight each one deserves, and my number one is Goldie Agency, which is my own agency.

After my agency, the providers whose reviews I'd check are Rhino Rank, Loganix, The HOTH, FatJoe, Page One Power, Editorial.Link, Authority Builders and Outreach Monks.

This quick start gives you the ranking, a six-step review check and the exact way an Agent OS can read, sort and flag reviews for you.

Link building service reviews: the ranked list in one table

Number one is my own agency, so please read that row knowing I'm biased.

RankServiceWhere its reviews liveBest for
1Goldie Agency + Goldstar Links (my agency)Video testimonials, a dozen written testimonials and dated case studies on its own sites.Owners who want links and strategy from one team.
2Rhino RankA REVIEWS.io store page, a claimed Trustpilot profile and a case studies page.Buyers who want independent ratings.
3LoganixA testimonials page with video reviews, plus Trustpilot and Shopper Approved.Agencies that want visible feedback.
4The HOTHA reviews page that says it shows 4,000+ reviews, plus Trustpilot.Resellers who want lots to read.
5FatJoeA Shopper Approved feed on its own reviews page, plus Trustpilot.Agencies buying packaged outreach.
6Page One PowerClient quotes labelled as Clutch reviews and an SEO case studies page.Established brands.
7Editorial.LinkLinks to its Clutch and G2 profiles, plus Trustpilot.Buyers who want DR 60+ placements.
8Authority BuildersHomepage testimonials, a case studies page and Trustpilot.SEOs who want to choose metrics.
9Outreach MonksOn-camera testimonials, a case studies page and a newer Trustpilot profile.Agencies at volume.

I checked every review source in this table on 27 October 2026.

I haven't hired the eight third-party providers, so I'm reporting where their reviews live and what their own pages say.

I'm not quoting star ratings or review counts from platforms, because those numbers change every week.

I'm not quoting prices either, because most engagements are custom and quoted after a call.

What link building service reviews can and can't tell you

Link building service reviews are other buyers' experiences of a provider, collected on testimonials pages, review platforms and case studies.

They help because link building is hard to judge from the outside, and results can take months to show.

They mislead when they're vague, anonymous or curated, because a glowing line with no detail proves nothing about the links.

The trick is to give each review a weight based on whether you can check it.

Source typeWho controls itHow much weight I give it
Provider testimonialsThe providerSome weight when the client is named and checkable.
Video testimonialsThe provider, with the client on cameraMore weight, because a real person explains the work.
Independent platformsTrustpilot, Shopper Approved, REVIEWS.io, Clutch or G2More weight when the reviews contain detail.
Case studiesThe provider, but the website is publicThe most weight when there are dates and a live site.

How an Agent OS reads link building service reviews for you

My Agent OS is a dashboard that runs a crew of AI agents, such as Hermes, Claude, GLM and Kimi, under one shared memory.

Reading reviews is a perfect agent job, because it's slow, repetitive and easy to check afterwards.

JobWhat the agent doesWhat you do
CollectAn agent opens each provider's testimonials, case studies and review pages and saves the text to shared memory. You give it the list of providers to check.
SortAn agent groups the reviews into link quality, reporting, communication, results and problem handling. You skim the themes.
FlagAn agent flags reviews with no name or detail and clusters of near-identical praise. You decide whether the flags matter.
VerifyAn agent checks that each case study website still loads and fits the niche claimed. You look at the sites that pass.
CompareAn agent builds one table across every provider from the same rules. You pick the shortlist and book the calls.

The agent never writes a review and never contacts a provider on its own.

Fake reviews are the exact problem we're trying to avoid, so the agent's only job is to read, sort and flag.

The shared memory pays off over time, because the same rules get applied to every provider you ever check.

Number one: Goldie Agency and Goldstar Links

Goldie Agency is the SEO and link building agency I started on my own, and it has 70+ SEO experts.

I rank it first because I know how the work is done, and you should weigh that as my bias.

Its testimonials page carries video testimonials, and the page says there are no scripts.

The homepage names four of those clients as Stef Hagistefanou, Gerald Rodriguez, Ben Grove and Scott Crews.

Goldstar Links has a dozen written testimonials, and all but one carry the client's name.

One of them, from Alex Membrillo, says Julian found "QUALITY links from great websites, not links that are for sale".

The case studies page lists dated results, such as Munten Letselschade growing traffic from 263 to 3,157 between June and December 2025 with link building.

I couldn't find a Trustpilot profile for goldie.agency when I checked, so our evidence lives on our own sites.

The homepage describes a five-step process of research, manual outreach, content, a quality check and a report of every live link.

Red flags an agent should flag in link building reviews

What Google's rules add that reviews can't

A happy reviewer can't tell you whether every link in their campaign was safe.

Google's spam policies define link spam as creating links primarily to manipulate search rankings.

The examples include buying or selling links for ranking purposes and using automated programs or services to create links.

Google also says paid links are fine for advertising when they carry rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored".

That's also why my agents never send outreach on their own, because automated link creation is on Google's list.

Ask every provider, mine included, how each placement is earned and how any paid placement is marked.

FAQ

Where can I find honest link building service reviews?

Start with the provider's own testimonials and case studies, then look for reviews on platforms the provider does not control, such as Trustpilot, Shopper Approved, REVIEWS.io, Clutch or G2. A case study you can check against a live website is the strongest evidence.

Which link building service has the best reviews?

Julian Goldie ranks his own agency, Goldie Agency with Goldstar Links, first and discloses the bias. He then lists Rhino Rank, Loganix, The HOTH, FatJoe, Page One Power, Editorial.Link, Authority Builders and Outreach Monks by how checkable their review evidence is.

Can an AI agent read link building reviews for me?

Yes. An agent can collect review pages, sort the feedback into themes and flag vague or near-identical reviews, while you make every decision. It should never write reviews or contact providers on its own.

Does Goldie Agency have a Trustpilot profile?

Julian found no Trustpilot profile for goldie.agency when he checked on 27 October 2026. Its evidence is video testimonials, named written testimonials on goldstarlinks.com and dated case studies on goldie.agency.

Do good reviews mean the links are safe?

Not on their own. Google's spam policies treat links bought for ranking purposes as link spam, and paid placements should carry rel=sponsored or rel=nofollow, so ask how every link is earned.

What does the free SEO strategy session cover?

It is a free, no-obligation call with Julian's team about your site, your competitors and the links worth earning first.
