The best backlink building service on my list is Goldie Agency, which is my own agency, so I'm disclosing that bias in the first line.
My third-party shortlist is Page One Power, Editorial.Link, LinkBuilder.io, Stellar SEO, Outreach Monks and Rhino Rank.
This quick start shows you how to hire one of them in seven steps and how an Agent OS keeps your own record of every link they build.
If you want help picking, you can book a free SEO strategy session with my team.
These are the seven services I'd shortlist, and number one is my own agency, so please read that row knowing I'm biased.
| Rank | Service | What its own site says | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Goldie Agency + Goldstar Links (my agency) | Manual outreach, no PBNs, niche-relevant placements and a 3-layer approval process for every backlink. | Owners who want one team to run strategy and links. |
| 2 | Page One Power | A link building service since 2010 with 100% manual outreach to vetted publishers. | Established brands that want a managed partner. |
| 3 | Editorial.Link | A trial backlink, prospect approval and a Link Type Classifier that screens out link sellers. | Buyers who want control. |
| 4 | LinkBuilder.io | Over 20 link building techniques and a shared tracking file. | Teams that want a tactic mix. |
| 5 | Stellar SEO | Strategy-led outreach with publisher vetting and transparent reporting. | Competitive niches. |
| 6 | Outreach Monks | 4,000+ manual links a month, no PBNs and white-label delivery. | Agencies that resell. |
| 7 | Rhino Rank | Curated links, guest posts and listicles with 12-month replacement cover. | Self-serve buyers. |
I read every provider's own website on 15 October 2026, and each claim in the table comes from those pages.
I haven't hired the six third-party services, so I'm describing what each one says about itself.
I haven't listed prices either, because engagements are usually custom and I won't guess.
A backlink building service earns links to your website from other websites.
A link from a relevant, trusted site is still one of the strongest signals Google uses to decide which pages deserve to rank.
The service does the slow work for you, which is finding the right sites, pitching editors, writing content and reporting what goes live.
I learned how much that work matters when my first site, a cryptocurrency blog, got zero Google traffic for months.
Link building is what finally made my affiliate sites rank, and that's why I started Goldie Agency on my own.
This is the fastest safe route from a cold start to a first order.

🔥 Want the exact link building setup I run inside my Agent OS?
Inside the AI Profit Boardroom you get the installable Agent OS, step-by-step video tutorials, four coaching calls a week and 3,400+ members building real automations.
I use six criteria, and each one maps neatly to a job an AI agent can help you check.
| Criterion | What I check | Where an agent helps |
|---|---|---|
| Manual outreach | Real people pitch real editors. | An agent can sample live placements and check that each page is a real article. |
| Relevance | The linking site covers your topic. | An agent can summarise each prospect site and tag its main topics. |
| Transparency | You see sites before and live URLs after. | An agent can store every approved site and every live URL in shared memory. |
| No PBNs | The provider rules out private blog networks in writing. | An agent can flag prospects that share owners, templates or thin content. |
| Reporting | Every live URL, anchor and date is reported. | An agent can re-check each URL weekly and alert you when a link disappears. |
| Policy compliance | The provider explains how links are earned and how paid placements are marked. | An agent can check each live link for rel attributes and log what it finds. |
The agent never replaces the service, because editors respond to people and relationships.
What the agent does is give you your own record, so you never rely on the provider's report alone.
I rank it first because I know how the work is done, and you should weigh that as my bias.
The homepage lists real backlinks on high-authority sites, niche-relevant placements and manual outreach with no PBNs.
Goldstar Links describes the skyscraper technique, a 3-layer approval process and a personal account manager. It also describes a pay-on-performance model, where you only pay when links are delivered.
The agency site publishes case studies, and one says Munten Letselschade grew traffic from 263 to 3,157 between June and December 2025 with link building.
Another says The Wheel Generator grew traffic by 767% between May and August 2025 with only 6 backlinks.
Those are past results for specific sites, and nobody can promise the same for yours.
AI runs around 80% of our internal operations, which is why I think about link building as a human job wrapped in an agent workflow.
Page One Power says it has been exclusively a link building service since 2010, with a 100% US-based team of senior strategists.
It promises real editorial placements rather than link networks or PBNs, and a fully managed partnership.
Editorial.Link offers a trial backlink, shows you the prospects first and only uses the sites you select.
It says it replaces links that disappear within six months.
LinkBuilder.io says it is trusted by 300+ brands and uses over 20 techniques, including broken link building and the skyscraper approach.
It describes a shared tracking file that updates in real time.
Stellar SEO says it has 13+ years of experience and builds strategy-led outreach campaigns with publisher vetting.
Outreach Monks says it has run since 2017, delivers 4,000+ manual links a month and never uses PBNs.
Rhino Rank says 7,000+ clients trust its links and offers curated links, guest posts and listicles with 12-month replacement cover.
My Agent OS is a dashboard that runs a crew of AI agents, such as Hermes, Claude, GLM and Kimi, under one shared memory.
It makes hiring a link builder safer, because your own agents keep an independent record of what was promised and what went live.
| Job | Your Agent OS handles it | The service handles it | You handle it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Target pages | An agent pulls pages ranking on page two or three from your data. | The service suggests which pages to push. | You pick the final three to five pages. |
| Prospect vetting | An agent summarises every proposed site and flags weak ones. | The service sends the prospect list. | You approve or reject each site. |
| Outreach | The agent never emails editors on its own. | The service pitches editors and builds relationships. | You answer any questions the service raises. |
| Link tracking | An agent re-checks every live URL and logs changes in shared memory. | The service reports new links each month. | You compare both records. |
| Results | An agent tracks rankings for the target pages. | The service explains what moved and why. | You decide whether to scale or stop. |
The shared memory is the part that pays off over months.
Every approved site, every live URL and every ranking check lands in one place, so any agent can compare this month with last month.
If a link disappears, an agent can flag it before the provider's next report arrives.

Google's spam policies define link spam as creating links primarily to manipulate search rankings.
The examples include buying or selling links for ranking purposes, excessive link exchanges and using automated programs or services to create links.
Google also says paid links are fine for advertising when they carry rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow".
So paying a team for research, outreach and content is a normal service, while paying purely for a link that passes ranking credit is what Google calls link spam.
That is also why my agents never send outreach on their own, because automated link creation is on Google's list.
Ask every provider, mine included, how each placement is earned and how any paid placement is marked.
A clear brief gets you better links, so this is the brief I'd send any provider on the list.
I'd then save that brief in the Agent OS shared memory, so every agent checks the provider's work against the same rules.

Julian Goldie ranks his own agency, Goldie Agency with Goldstar Links, first and discloses the bias. His third-party shortlist is Page One Power, Editorial.Link, LinkBuilder.io, Stellar SEO, Outreach Monks and Rhino Rank.
Pick a few target pages, shortlist three providers, ask how every link is earned, approve the prospect list, start with a small order and measure for 60 to 90 days.
Paying a team for research, outreach and content is a normal service. Google lists money exchanged for links that pass ranking credit as link spam, and paid placements should carry rel=sponsored or rel=nofollow.
Your own agents can vet proposed sites, store every live URL in shared memory and re-check links on a schedule, which gives you an independent record next to the provider's reports.
No. Nobody controls Google's rankings, so treat any guaranteed position or date as a red flag.
The page describes it as a free AI brand visibility session with no obligation, covering a custom visibility plan, a roadmap and a competitor gap analysis.
Keep your own record, approve every site and never pay for a guarantee.
