Where the story starts: a crypto site with zero traffic

The Agent OS story actually starts years before AI agents existed.

I was travelling in Asia, and I built a cryptocurrency website.

I published content on it for months, and Google sent me zero traffic.

That was the moment I learned that content alone does not rank.

So I learned link building, and I tested it on my own affiliate sites.

It worked, and I realised I could sell the same work as a service.

I started Goldie Agency completely solo.

Over a decade later, it is a 7-figure SEO and link-building agency with 70+ employees in Bangkok.

I am telling you this because the Agent OS came from the same instinct.

I learned the boring work by doing it by hand, and then I looked for a way to stop doing it by hand.

Why Julian Goldie built the Agent OS

In mid-2025, I changed my focus from SEO tactics to AI agents that do the SEO for you.

The problem was not the AI tools themselves, because the tools were brilliant.

The problem was that they lived in a dozen tabs, and none of them talked to each other.

Claude was in one tab, Hermes was in another, and my notes lived somewhere else.

Every morning, every agent knew nothing about me, so I had to explain my business again.

I had become the glue between my own tools.

So I decided to build one place where every agent could live, share one memory and pick up work from one board.

What the Agent OS actually is

The Agent OS is a dashboard that runs a crew of AI agents under one shared memory and one set of prompts.

It runs on macOS, Linux and through the web, so it goes wherever your stack lives.

It has three core pieces, and every other feature hangs off them.

• The first piece is one screen, where every agent sits side by side so I am not switching tabs.
• The second piece is one shared memory, which in my setup is an Obsidian vault that every exchange saves into.
• The third piece is one task board, where I drop bigger jobs as tickets and an agent worker picks them up.

The line-up changes as new models land, because testing new models is part of my job.

How the Agent OS fits a normal working day

Here is how I actually use it, so you can see it is a working system and not a demo.

When a new frontier model drops, I wire it into the Agent OS first, so the crew can dispatch it from the same kanban board.

Then I run my fixed prompt set through it, one shot each, with no hints.

I score each result from 0 to 10, and the score goes onto GoldieBench, my public model leaderboard.

On the SEO side, my agents help research keywords, draft pages from my real experience, add schema and publish across my sites.

On the agency side, AI handles about 80% of internal operations at Goldie Agency.

Hermes is the agent I lean on most, and it sits behind many rooms in my Agent OS, including chat, voice, tickets, outreach and memory.

How to start your own Agent OS today

You do not need my whole setup to start, and you do not need to write code.

This is the quick-start order I give people.

• First, pick one main agent, and I suggest Hermes because it can run long jobs and use tools.
• Second, set up one shared memory, such as a free Obsidian vault, and write one note that explains your business.
• Third, connect the agent to that memory so it reads your context before every job.
• Fourth, pick one repetitive job, such as a weekly report, and write it up as a ticket.
• Fifth, hand the ticket to the agent, check the first few results and tighten the instructions.
• Sixth, only add a second agent once the first one runs its job without you.
