How Julian Goldie SEO started: one crypto site with zero traffic

My SEO story started with a cryptocurrency website I built while I was travelling around Asia.

I wrote content for it for months, and it got zero traffic from Google.

That failure taught me that content alone doesn't rank, so I learned link building.

I tested link building on my own affiliate sites, and the rankings moved.

Then I realised I could sell that result as a service.

I started Goldie Agency completely solo, and over the years it grew into a 7-figure SEO and link building agency with 70+ employees.

I put the link building playbook into my book, Link Building Mastery, and I taught it on Udemy to 29K+ students.

Why I moved Julian Goldie SEO onto an Agent OS in 2025

In mid-2025 I shifted my focus from SEO tactics to AI agents that do the SEO for you.

I'd watched agents finish in minutes what used to take my team a day, and I knew the work was about to change for good.

You don't need to understand every tab to use it, but these four parts are what make SEO work.

• The first part is the dashboard, where every agent is a page in one app rather than a tab in a browser.
• The second part is the shared memory, which is an Obsidian vault of plain text files that every agent reads at the start of a job and writes to at the end.
• The third part is the Kanban board, where agents pick up task cards, work on them in parallel and move them to done with a summary.
• The fourth part is phone access, so the same board, chats and memory open from a bookmark in any country.

My own memory layer had 614 notes and 1,254 links between them when I recorded the AI Agent OS guide.

That memory is why my agents don't need me to re-explain my business every morning.

The Julian Goldie SEO workflow inside the Agent OS, step by step

This is the actual loop my SEO runs on.

Each stage is a card or a skill the agents can run without me sitting there.

The rule that matters most is grounding.

My agents never write from thin air, because a page built on a real transcript holds information nobody else has.

The second rule is additive publishing.

My agents only ever add pages, and they never delete a live page, change a ranking URL or overwrite an old post.

The third rule is intent.

A product name gets an explainer, a "best" keyword gets a ranked list and a "vs" keyword gets a verdict first.

You can build a small version of this in a weekend.

• First, set up one dashboard with one coding agent, such as Claude Code or Hermes.
• Second, create an Obsidian vault and tell the agent to read it at the start of every session and write back at the end.
• Third, export your Search Console queries and ask the agent to find pages with impressions but almost no clicks.
• Fourth, record yourself doing real work on one of those topics and save the transcript.
• Fifth, write a one-page skill file with your rules for titles, intent, voice and schema.
• Sixth, add a Kanban board and turn "write a post from this transcript" into a card an agent can pick up.
• Seventh, read the draft, publish it and submit the URL for indexing.

Once one post works, you add more sites, more agents and more cards.

These numbers come from my own Google Search Console, and each one is shown on screen in a guide on this site.

I've never logged into that site, because my Agent OS documents what we test and publishes it for me.

One shows a legal services client going from 263 to 3,157 monthly visitors between June and December 2025, with top-three rankings rising from 19 to 108.
