Hark Pro is a free personal AI agent from Hark Labs that connects to your email and apps, remembers your preferences and does real tasks on its own cloud computer.
It launched on 6 October 2026, and every feature is on the free plan, while Hark Pro² and Hark Pro³ only add usage.
The question I get most is how to set it up fast and where it should sit next to an Agent OS.
So here is the five-minute quick-start, what each plan really buys you, every feature I tested, and the lane I would give it in your stack.
Hark Pro is the app Hark Labs calls "the operating system for your life".
It looks like a calm messaging app, but it is really a personal agent with three working parts.
The first part is memory, so it learns your preferences and forgets anything you ask it to.
The second part is Handoff, which is Hark's own cloud computer that signs in to websites and completes tasks like purchases and forms.
The third part is proactive thinking, which means it suggests the next job before you ask.
Hark Pro comes from Hark Labs, Inc. in San Jose, California, a company founded by Brett Adcock, who also founded Figure and Archer Aviation.
Hark announced a $700 million funding round in May 2026 and launched Hark Pro on 6 October 2026.
It runs on the web at hark.com and in the Hark Pro apps for iOS and Android.
When I opened it, it honestly felt like the Apple of AI agents.
| Plan | Price | Usage | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hark Pro | Free | The base allowance. | Every feature is included. |
| Hark Pro² | $20 a month | 2x more usage. | The same features, with double the room. |
| Hark Pro³ | $100 a month | 10x more usage. | The same features, with ten times the room. |
Hark's pricing page says all features are offered in all plans, and upgrading only increases usage.
So you never pay to unlock a feature, and you only pay for more room.
Hark's own examples say the $20 plan can get organic produce delivered 40 times and the $100 plan can plan 50 weddings.
Those are illustrations rather than hard limits, but they show the scale.
If you go over your allowance, Hark's terms say it may offer paid Top-Ups.
Automatic Top-Ups only apply if you switch them on, and Hark's own guide recommends setting a spending ceiling when you do.
Unused Top-Ups are not refundable unless your local law gives you that right.
This is the exact order I would follow.
Hark greeted me with, "Hi Julian. What's one thing on your plate this week I could take off?"
It suggested things like booking a trip, a dinner reservation or an appointment.
Hark's terms say you must be at least 18 to use it.
Leave your wallet until last, after you have watched Hark finish a few jobs properly.
I typed, "Book an Italian restaurant for Wednesday next week."
Hark asked how many people and what time.
I replied "6pm, two people" with a typo, and it understood me without any fuss.
Then it started booking one of my favourite restaurants on its own computer screen, and I could watch every step.
I told it to stop before it completed, because I was only testing.
Connected apps also work directly inside Hark's own computer.
With Grok Bot, I often had to log in again through its computer to give it screen access, so this felt much smoother.
I called Hark a very simple, easy-to-use version of something like OpenClaw, straight out of the box.
🔥 Want the exact personal AI agents beside the Agent OS setup I run inside my Agent OS?
Inside the AI Profit Boardroom you get the installable Agent OS, step-by-step video tutorials, four coaching calls a week and 3,400+ members building real automations.
| Hark Pro feature | What it does | Its job in an Agent OS world |
|---|---|---|
| Chat and memory | One persistent thread that learns your preferences and forgets things when you ask. | It is the personal front door, so your life admin never clutters your work agents. |
| Handoff | Hark's own cloud computer that signs in to websites and completes tasks. | It handles consumer websites, so your work agents never need your personal logins. |
| Home | Spaces, Panels and Action Buttons on one screen, and you can even pay bills from it. | It is your personal dashboard, next to the Agent OS work dashboard. |
| Panels | Mini apps you build by typing what you want. | They watch personal data such as deliveries, podcasts or workouts. |
| Action Buttons | One-tap cards such as paying a bill or cancelling a subscription. | They turn small personal decisions into one tap. |
| Projects | Dedicated threads that store files for long-horizon work. | They hold personal projects such as a trip or a big event. |
| Proactive inbox | It reads email and proposes action items for a yes or no. | It clears personal email before you sit down to work. |
| Side prompts and "show" | Quick options like "quiet this" and "close this notification", and "show" pulls items into the chat. | They keep noise down without opening another app. |
| Attachments and voice | It accepts files and voice input, but it does not talk back. | You can dictate a job on the move. |
| Scheduled tasks | One section that manages every recurring job you set up in chat. | It is the personal version of your Agent OS cron jobs. |
| Specialties | Multi-step workflows Hark memorises for jobs you repeat. | They are the personal version of agent skills. |
| Prep my day | It builds your itinerary from your calendar and inbox. | It is the morning brief before your work agents start. |
| Trip planning | It finds camping spots, writes a packing list, says when to leave and books flights. | It is the clearest showcase of Handoff. |
A few of these deserve a closer look.
To make a Panel, you say "create a new panel" and type what you want.
When I asked for a productivity Panel, Hark asked whether I meant meeting hours versus focus time, or to-do tasks, and it offered to connect ClickUp or Asana.
The example Panels I saw tracked calendar events, Shopify packages arriving this week and new Apple Podcasts episodes.
You could build the same thing for fitness, workouts or calorie tracking.
Hark's guide adds that you can use "Reply" on a Panel to redesign it or explore its data.
"Prep my day" gave me this example: "Your inbox is clean.
Do you want me to pull in the sales numbers before your team sales meeting at 4 p.m.?"
For integrations, I saw Gmail, Slack, GitHub, LinkedIn, Notion, Amazon and PayPal.
Hark also says it connects to Google and Outlook through their APIs, lists Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 as direct Services, and supports MCP for other tools.

Inside the AI Profit Boardroom you get the installable Agent OS, step-by-step video tutorials, four coaching calls a week and 3,400+ members building real automations.
This is the bit most people get wrong.
They see a new agent and try to make it run everything.
I split my world into two lanes instead.
The personal lane is life admin, and that is where Hark Pro shines.
The work lane is content, SEO, research and client work, and that stays in my Agent OS, where I pick the models and keep the files.
| Job | Give it to | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Booking dinners, appointments and trips | Hark Pro | Handoff is built to sign in to consumer sites and book. |
| Paying personal bills and cancelling subscriptions | Hark Pro, with confirmations on | Action Buttons make it one tap, and you approve each payment. |
| Your personal inbox and calendar | Hark Pro | The proactive inbox and Prep my day are made for this. |
| Writing content, SEO and client deliverables | Your Agent OS | You choose the model, keep the files and control the pipeline. |
| Multi-agent builds, code and research | Your Agent OS | Hark Pro is a single personal agent, not a crew. |
| Anything that needs a model you pick | Your Agent OS | Hark Pro does not let you choose its model. |
That split keeps your personal logins out of your work agents.
It also stops a personal agent with an undisclosed model from touching your client deliverables.
Hark Pro's Specialties and scheduled tasks are the personal version of the skills and cron jobs I run in the Agent OS.
So the habits you already have carry straight over.
Because every plan has the same features, spending usage well is the real skill.
Upgrade to Hark Pro² at $20 a month only if you hit the limit in a normal week.
Hark Pro³ at $100 a month only makes sense if Hark runs a big part of your day.
Hark's terms say that when you ask it to buy, book or pay, you authorise it to act as your agent.
They also say Hark will ask you to confirm before it spends your money unless you tell it otherwise.
On privacy, Hark says it will never sell your data or share it with advertisers, and that you can always delete it.
Its privacy policy says it does not use your inputs, outputs, memory or connected account data to train AI models.
Cards and passwords sit in the Secured by Hark vault, which Hark says even its own team cannot see inside.
A viewer asked me whether, after Hermes, Muse, Dots, Grok, OpenBot and now Hark, the differences are big enough to set everything up from scratch again.
My answer is to stop switching for novelty.
Add Hark Pro as your personal lane only if it does a real job better than what you have now.
My launch-day walkthrough is in the Hark AI agent quick-start, and my scored verdict is in the Hark Pro review.
If you want the full work lane already built, with the agents, memory and coaching, it lives inside the AI Profit Boardroom.
Hark Pro is a personal AI agent from Hark Labs that launched on 6 October 2026. It connects to your email and apps, remembers your preferences and uses its own cloud computer, called Handoff, to book, buy, plan and pay for things on the web, iOS and Android.
Yes. Hark's pricing page says all features are offered in all plans. Hark Pro is free, Hark Pro² costs $20 a month for 2x more usage, and Hark Pro³ costs $100 a month for 10x more usage.
Hark's terms say it may offer paid Top-Ups when you exceed your allowance. Automatic Top-Ups only apply if you turn them on, and Hark recommends setting a spending ceiling.
Not for work. Hark Pro is a polished personal agent, but you cannot pick its model and it is built for one person's life admin. Use it as your personal lane and keep content, SEO and client work in your Agent OS.
Hark's terms say it asks you to confirm before spending your money unless you tell it otherwise. You can grant standing permission for a category of transactions, so keep that category small.
Start free, connect your email, keep confirmations on and give it one personal job this week.
Give your life admin to Hark Pro and keep your work in your Agent OS, and you will get the best of both from Hark Pro.
