FlyHermes is a paid, hosted service that runs a Hermes Agent for you, so you can message your own agent on web chat, Telegram, Slack or WhatsApp without setting up a server.
HF Data Studio LLC operates it, the site says it is not affiliated with Nous Research, and the main plan was $49 a month, or $39 a month billed annually, when I checked on 11 October 2026.
Below you'll get what it is, the exact prices, a quick-start, every feature, the limits and how a hosted agent fits into an Agent OS.
Here is the whole answer in one table before the detail.

| Is there a refund? | The refund policy gives first-time subscribers 14 days, minus AI credits used. |
I read every one of those answers on FlyHermes's own pages on 11 October 2026.
I run Hermes every day on my Mac and I've deployed Hermes Cloud, but I haven't run a long hands-on test of a paid FlyHermes workspace.
That means this guide tells you what the company publishes, where it is vague and where two of its pages disagree.
Hermes Agent is the free, open-source AI agent from Nous Research.
It keeps memory, uses real tools, runs scheduled jobs and talks to you through chat apps.
It also needs a machine that stays on, a model to think with and a gateway to your chat apps.
Plenty of people stall on that setup and never get to the useful part.
FlyHermes sells the finished setup as a monthly subscription.
The site says the plan covers a hosted server, model API access, tooling infrastructure, core channels and a monthly usage allowance.
The headline promise is that web chat is ready in about 60 seconds.
The site footer says FlyHermes is operated by HF Data Studio LLC, with an address at 447 Broadway in New York.
The refund policy describes HF Data Studio LLC as a Wyoming limited liability company.
The footer says, in its own words, that it is an independent service and not affiliated with Nous Research.
Nous Research has its own hosted product, which is called Hermes Cloud and lives in the Nous Portal.
The FlyHermes app page also uses the phrase "Hermes Cloud" as a heading, so check the web address to know which product you are on.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Limits the pages list |
|---|---|---|---|
| FlyHermes Pro (home page) | $49 a month | $39 a month, billed $468 a year | A monthly usage allowance with no size stated |
| Starter (app page) | $49 a month | From $39 a month | 50 tasks a day, 5 heavy tasks a day, 1 channel, 1 agent identity |
| Solopreneur | $99 a month | $79 a month, billed $948 a year | 200 tasks a day, 30 heavy tasks a day, all channels, 3 agent identities, scheduled jobs |
| Operator | $199 a month | $159 a month, billed $1,908 a year | 1,000 tasks a day, 10 agent identities, 3 team seats, custom integrations |
| Team or Enterprise | Book a call | Book a call | SSO and SAML, a success manager and SLA-backed uptime |
The home page shows one plan and calls $49 a launch offer.
The app page at cloud.flyhermes.ai shows three tiers with daily task limits.
The annual prices for Solopreneur and Operator come from the separate Operator page on the main site.
I can't tell you which plan list you'll see at checkout, so read the plan name and its limits on the checkout page.
Neither page explains what counts as a heavy task or what happens when an allowance runs out.
🔥 Want the exact Hermes setup I run inside my Agent OS?
Inside the AI Profit Boardroom you get the installable Agent OS, step-by-step video tutorials, four coaching calls a week and 3,400+ members building real automations.
These steps combine the three steps on the home page with the four-step quick start in the FlyHermes docs.
I've only described what those pages say, so I haven't invented any buttons.
Open the official FlyHermes site and scroll to the pricing section.
Choose monthly billing while you test, because annual billing charges $468 upfront.
Click the deploy button and sign in.
The privacy policy says sign-in uses Google OAuth and Stripe processes the payment.
The docs say you start from the hosted checkout and then confirm your workspace.
The site says web chat is ready first.
Tell the agent who you are, what your business does and what you want help with.
The docs call Telegram the fastest first channel.
They say you can add your own bot token or invite the managed bot into the right chat.
If you bring your own bot, you create it by messaging @BotFather in Telegram and sending /newbot.
The docs say to connect only the services you need first.
They name GitHub, Gmail, Google Workspace, Stripe, Vercel, browser automation and custom APIs.
The docs say to store API keys in the workspace environment and never paste tokens into a public thread.
The docs say to save stable preferences, project conventions and workflow rules.
They are clear that memory is for durable facts and not for task logs.
The home page uses "daily briefing at 7am" as its example.
Run the job by hand once, fix the output, and then schedule it.
The home page lists Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp, Discord and web chat.
The docs add email, webhooks and the CLI as later additions.
The Starter tier on the app page lists one connected channel, so the full list depends on your plan.
The site says model API access is included for supported providers.
It names Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek and Llama, and it doesn't list exact versions.
It says FlyHermes manages the model access layer as supported models change.
The docs describe memory as durable preferences, environment notes and project conventions.
Memory is what stops the agent starting from scratch every session.
The docs describe skills as reusable playbooks with exact commands, pitfalls and verification steps.
The skills page groups them into software development, growth marketing, research, productivity, ML operations, and creative and media.
The integrations page lists Telegram, Discord, Gmail, GitHub, Google Workspace, browser automation, files and terminal, custom MCP tools and scheduled jobs.
Custom MCP tools are the escape hatch, because they let you attach a system the host doesn't support.
The pages describe recurring digests, monitors, alerts and watchdogs that deliver to a channel.
The home plan lists scheduled jobs, and the app page lists them from the Solopreneur tier upwards.
The refund position has two versions.
The refund policy, last updated on 7 June 2026, gives first-time subscribers 14 days to ask for a refund.
A monthly refund is the first month's payment minus AI credits used.
The terms on the app domain, last updated on 6 March 2026, still say all payments are final and non-refundable.
The refund policy is the newer page, but I'd get the answer from support in writing before buying a year.
The privacy policy says API keys you provide are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and data in transit uses TLS.
It says card numbers aren't stored and personal data isn't sold to third parties.
It lists Supabase, Stripe, Google and Vercel as third-party services.
It says instance data is permanently deleted within 30 days of cancellation or account deletion.
One line says AI providers are used through your own API keys only, which doesn't match the included model access on the home page.
That policy is dated 6 March 2026, so I read it as an older page that hasn't been updated.
With any hosted agent, your messages and connected accounts pass through someone else's infrastructure, so connect the least you can.
🔥 Want the exact Hermes setup I run inside my Agent OS?
Inside the AI Profit Boardroom you get the installable Agent OS, step-by-step video tutorials, four coaching calls a week and 3,400+ members building real automations.
This is the part I care about most, because an agent is only useful as part of a system.
My Agent OS is a dashboard that runs a crew of agents under one shared memory.
| Layer in my Agent OS | What it does | Where a hosted agent fits |
|---|---|---|
| The workshop | My Mac runs the dashboard, the local models and the builds. | A hosted agent doesn't replace this layer. |
| The night shift | An always-on agent answers messages and runs scheduled jobs. | This is the one job FlyHermes is sold to do. |
| The remote control | My phone talks to the agents through Telegram. | A hosted agent plugs into the same chat app. |
| The shared memory | My Obsidian vault holds what every agent should know. | A hosted agent keeps its own memory on the host's servers. |
A hosted agent can only ever be the night shift.
It can answer Telegram, run a morning briefing and chase follow-ups while my Mac is shut.
It can't run my local models, drive my desktop tools or read my Obsidian vault directly.
That is the honest boundary of any hosted Hermes service, and it applies to Hermes Cloud as well.
If your Mac is on all day, you may not need a hosted agent at all.
My Agent OS on your phone guide shows how I reach my own machine privately with Tailscale.
If you want the full picture of the dashboard, my AI Agent OS guide walks through it.
| Route | Who runs it | Price seen on 11 Oct 2026 | Model usage | What you manage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FlyHermes | HF Data Studio LLC | $49 a month, or $39 a month annually | Included inside an allowance | Channels, tools and memory |
| Hermes Cloud | Nous Research | $0.51 a day Standard, $0.99 a day Pro, $0.03 a day stopped | Billed on top | Channels, tools, memory and model spend |
| Self-managed VPS | You | A monthly server bill | Billed by your provider | Everything, including security and backups |
| Your own Mac | You | No hosting bill | Free with local models | Keeping the machine awake |
I checked the Hermes Cloud figures on the Nous Portal on 11 October 2026.
The Standard size has 2GB of RAM, 2 vCPUs and 10 concurrent sessions, and 30 days running non-stop is about $15.30 before model usage.
Hermes Cloud needs a $2 minimum credit balance or an active Nous subscription to deploy.
FlyHermes costs more per month on paper, and its price includes model access where Hermes Cloud bills inference separately.
My Hermes Cloud guide covers the official host from start to finish.
A VPS gives you the most control, and my best Hermes Agent VPS ranking has the hosts and the setup commands.
I first covered this service in June in my best Hermes VPS post.
FlyHermes suits a non-technical owner who wants an agent on Telegram today and prefers one flat bill.
It doesn't suit someone who needs to choose exact models, run local models or know the data region.
It also isn't needed by anyone happy to follow a tutorial, because Hermes itself is free.
My own preference is to own the setup, because you learn how the agent works and nothing vanishes when a subscription ends.
FlyHermes is a paid hosted service that runs a Hermes Agent for you. Its plan bundles a hosted server, model API access, tooling infrastructure, core chat channels and a monthly usage allowance.
No. The site says it is operated by HF Data Studio LLC and is an independent service not affiliated with Nous Research. Nous Research's own hosted product is called Hermes Cloud.
On 11 October 2026 the home page listed $49 a month, or $39 a month billed annually at $468 a year, as a launch offer. Other FlyHermes pages listed tiers at $99 and $199 a month.
You pick a plan, sign in, pay at the hosted checkout, confirm your workspace and start in web chat. The docs then say to connect Telegram, add only the tools you need and save durable memory.
No. A hosted agent covers the always-on jobs such as chat replies and scheduled briefings. Building, local models and private files still belong on your own machine.
The refund policy dated 7 June 2026 gives first-time subscribers 14 days, minus AI credits used. The older terms page says payments are non-refundable, so confirm with support before you pay.
Start on monthly billing, read the plan limits at checkout and give the agent one read-only job first.
You'll know within a week whether a hosted agent earns its place next to your own setup, or whether you'd rather own everything that FlyHermes rents you.
