Claude GEO SEO means using Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, to do the analysis and drafting behind generative engine optimisation and SEO, while you keep the data, the case studies and the final fact-check.
GEO is generative engine optimisation, which is the work of making your business the name that Google AI, Gemini or ChatGPT gives when someone asks a question.
This quick start shows the exact loop I run, from a free Search Console export to a published, case-study-led page, and how it slots into an Agent OS.
In my video I run it with Hermes Agent, and the same steps work inside Claude.
If you'd like a second pair of eyes first, book a free one-to-one GEO, AEO AI audit and get a custom game plan.
This is the whole loop as I'd run it inside an Agent OS, with each stage labelled by who does it.
| Stage | Agent OS job | Who does it | Output |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Data | Export Search Console as a CSV and drop it in the workspace. | You | A raw export the agents can read. |
| 2. Analysis | Ask Claude what's working and which topics could rank in AI search. | Claude | A report with clicks, brand share, non-brand CTR and best pages. |
| 3. Source | Pick the real case study or transcript that answers each topic. | You | One case study per target topic. |
| 4. Draft | Run the SEO skill on the keyword and the case study. | Claude | An answer-first article, title, description, FAQ and schema. |
| 5. Check | Fact-check every claim, title, description, schema field and alt text. | You | An approved page. |
| 6. Ship | Publish through WordPress or Netlify. | The agent, after approval | A live page. |
| 7. Loop | Feed next week's data back in and refresh pages near page one. | Claude plus you | A sharper skill and a next-topic list. |
The pattern is simple, because Claude does the analysis and drafting while you own the data, the case studies and the fact-check.
Claude is the AI assistant built by Anthropic, and you can run it as the app or as Claude Code in your terminal.
GEO is generative engine optimisation, which is making your business the name that Google AI, Gemini or ChatGPT gives when someone asks a question.
Claude GEO SEO is using Claude as the engine for that work, plus the classic SEO work that feeds it.
It is not the same as getting your brand cited inside Claude's own answers, which is a separate job I cover in my Claude AI GEO guide.
The reason it matters is that old SEO gave you ten blue links, while AI answers usually give a short list of one to three names.
There's no room for number seven in that list.
The AI reads the pages that rank and sums up what they say, like five friends recommending the same restaurant.
So the job is to publish more good pages that agree on you, and Claude speeds that up.
An Agent OS is a dashboard that runs a crew of AI agents under one shared memory, and mine runs Hermes, Claude and others side by side.
In my latest GEO video I run this workflow with Hermes Agent and a free brain inside OpenCode.
I also say you can run your experiments in Claude and export them to Hermes, or simply write inside Claude.
That's the practical answer to "Claude or Hermes", because the process is the same and the agent is interchangeable.
I tend to use Claude where the writing quality matters most and a free brain where the job is repetitive.
Open Google Search Console, go to the Performance report and export the data as a CSV file, which is free.
Save it to the shared workspace so every agent can read the same file.
Google's AI features page says AI Overview and AI Mode traffic is counted in the Performance report under the "Web" search type.
So your export already includes some AI-feature data, even though it isn't split out.
🔥 Want the exact Claude GEO SEO setup I run inside my Agent OS?
Inside the AI Profit Boardroom you get the installable Agent OS, step-by-step video tutorials, four coaching calls a week and 3,400+ members building real automations.
This is the prompt I use in the video, word for word.
Can you analyse this and, based on what's actually working, give me keyword and topic ideas to rank inside AI search engines?
In my video the agent builds a report artifact in the workspace with clicks, brand share of clicks, non-brand click-through rate and the month's clicks.
It lists what's working, which for me was comparison articles, Agent OS clusters, free AI community pages and Antigravity and Hermes topics.
Then it gives averages and a verdict on the best pages.
I'm honest in the video that this is Google organic data, because Google and the AI engines don't yet report AI traffic well.

Book a free one-to-one GEO, AEO AI audit and we'll look at your site, your competitors and the keywords you're closest to winning.
This is the step that turns Claude from a content mill into a source worth citing.
I record my screen while I do real work, and each recording becomes a text file in a transcript folder Claude can read.
My Claude AI SEO rank #1 guide shows that folder and the rule that sits on top of it.
The rule is simple, because with no transcript there's no article.
AI Mode describes me as widely recognised as a top practitioner because of public testing and deployment.
That's why the case study matters, because to be named the expert you have to show you've done the work.
A skill is a written recipe Claude reads before it starts.
My own SEO skill is roughly a 100-point checklist that writes everything from a case-study angle, and it lives inside the AI Profit Boardroom.
This is the demo prompt from the video once the skill and site access are in place.
Create an SEO article using your SEO skill and the keyword "GEO examples" and publish to aiprofitboardroom.com.
In the video the agent publishes straight to my sites through WordPress and Netlify.
For a new setup, I'd have Claude save a draft and wait for your approval instead.
Google updated its page on using generative AI content on 1 October 2026.
It says it's "critical to manually factcheck and review all AI-generated content" before publishing.
That review covers title elements, meta descriptions, structured data and image alt text as well as the body.
Google explains that generative models predict likely words rather than retrieving facts, which is why they sometimes get things wrong.
So in an Agent OS, the fact-check is a human checkpoint, not an agent task.
Claude can list every claim it made to speed you up, but you're the one who signs it off.
I'm adding a manual fact-checking list to the AI Profit Boardroom after this update.

Once the first page is live, the job becomes a loop.
This is the skill file I'd hand Claude so the loop runs the same way every week.
CLAUDE GEO SEO SKILL (weekly loop) 1. Read the newest Search Console CSV in the workspace and last week's report from shared memory. 2. Report total clicks, brand share of clicks, non-brand CTR, best pages and what is working by topic cluster. 3. Suggest keyword and topic ideas to rank inside AI search engines, based only on what is already working. 4. For each idea, find the matching case study or transcript in the source folder. If none exists, STOP and ask. 5. Draft an answer-first article from that source: answer in the first two lines, FAQ with short direct answers, FAQ schema, 2-4 internal links. 6. List every number, name, date, quote, title, description, schema field and alt text for human fact-checking. 7. Save the draft. Publish only after a human approves it. 8. Flag pages sitting around positions 8-15 for a refresh and save the report to shared memory. NEVER: invent case studies, results, quotes or reviews; promise rankings or AI placements; publish without approval.
The STOP rule in line four is the most important line in the file.
It's what stops Claude filling gaps with guesses when it can't find your real experience.
I call my GEO system the answer engine, and it has three moves.
| Move | What it means | Agent OS habit |
|---|---|---|
| Be the source | Every page carries a real case study, test or result. | Keep a source folder of transcripts and test notes that Claude must draw from. |
| Be everywhere | Several sites and platforms point to the same answer from different angles. | Have Claude draft a different angle per site or platform from the same case study. |
| Be first | You publish within 24 hours of a topic appearing. | Let an agent flag new topics so Claude drafts the same day and you check it. |
When Jev AI dropped, I published on "Jev architecture" and "Jev waitlist" that same weekend, which is the be-first move.
I also run multiple websites with different angles, so I can show up two to four times on page one for one search.

In my latest GEO video, my content appears in Google's AI answer at the top for "best geo expert" and ranks first organically.
When I ask AI Mode for the best GEO experts to follow in 2026, it lists me first and links to my sites.
One of my sites went from zero to more than 1,300 clicks a day, and two other sites are on the same trajectory.
My full Claude AI SEO course walks through another site climbing from nothing to 278 clicks a day.
These are my own results, and nobody can guarantee what an AI answer will say for your site.
Claude only knows what's in your workspace, so thin inputs give thin pages.
Claude can state wrong facts confidently, so the fact-check checkpoint can't be skipped.
Search Console doesn't split AI traffic cleanly, so you still check key questions in the AI tools by hand.
AI answers change, so a page that's named today needs refreshing to stay named.
If you'd rather not run any of this yourself, my Claude SEO agency guide explains the done-for-you route, and you can book a free strategy session to see what it would look like for you.
Inside the AI Profit Boardroom you get my Agent OS, my SEO skill and checklist and the AI SEO automation section.
You also get coaching calls, a member map and the chance to DM me, and I can even take a look at your website.
There are 3,400+ members and four coaching calls a week.
It means using Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, to do the analysis and drafting behind generative engine optimisation and SEO. You supply the data and case studies, and a human fact-checks everything before it goes live.
In my video I run the workflow with Hermes Agent and a free brain, and I say you can run experiments in Claude and export them, or write inside Claude. The process is the same either way.
I give the Search Console CSV to the agent and ask it to analyse what's actually working and give keyword and topic ideas to rank inside AI search engines.
Yes, once it has an SEO skill and access to WordPress or Netlify, but I'd approve drafts by hand until the skill is proven, because Google says manual review is critical.
No. This is using Claude as a tool. Getting your brand named inside Claude's answers is a separate job covered in my Claude AI GEO guide.
No. Nobody can guarantee what an AI answer will say, and the numbers I share come from my own screens.
Export your Search Console data, run the analysis prompt and ship one case-study page this week.
When you want help choosing the next topics, book a free AEO SEO strategy session and get a plan to rank in Google and AI search.
That's how you get Claude GEO SEO running inside your own Agent OS.
