Agent OS · Hermes Outreach · the AI writes it

Your AI writes the link-building emails now.

Inside the Agent OS, the Hermes Outreach tool finds your prospects, validates them, and writes the actual cold email for you — personalised to each person, opt-out built in. You just say what the campaign is about.

I · what it is

An outreach tool that writes its own emails.

Cold outreach has always had the same boring bottleneck: the writing.

You find prospects. You check their emails are real. And then you sit there writing the same email a hundred times, tweaking it for each one.

The Hermes Outreach tool, inside my Agent OS, takes that whole job off your plate.

You tell it what the campaign is about — one or two sentences. The AI writes the actual email. A real subject. A real pitch. Personalised to each person on your list.

The email at the top of this page? I didn't write a word of it. I typed what I was pitching, hit one button, and that came out — ready to send.

Thinking it? "AI emails sound like a robot wrote them."

Read that email again. Short lines. A real human ask. It opens with the prospect's own site, not "Dear Sir/Madam."

It writes the way I'd write — because I told it what I wanted in plain English, and it fills in the prospect's name, site and business on every send.

The whole job, left to right — the AI writing the email is the step that used to eat your afternoon.
II · the part that matters

You say what it's about. It writes the email.

This is the bit that changes everything, so let me show you exactly how it works.

In the campaign builder there's a box: "What's this campaign about?"

For the campaign in this guide, I typed roughly this:

What I typed — the briefyour input
I just published a new guide on the AI Profit Boardroom blog — "Hermes Agent MoA" — about Mixture of Agents, where you stack a panel of AI models into one that beats any single frontier model. I'm doing link-building outreach to SEO and content agencies whose audience cares about AI. The ask: a link from a relevant post, or a guest post or mention. Keep it warm and low-pressure.

Then I hit "Write the email with AI."

It wrote the whole thing — the email at the top of this page. The pitch is real. The link is in there. And the {{first_name}}, {{domain}} and {{reason}} tags fill in for each prospect, so no two people get the same opener.

One brief in. One ready-to-send, personalised email out. No blank "[your pitch]" to fill, no staring at an empty draft.

Thinking it? "I'd rather write my own — mine are better."

Then write the brief in your voice, and tweak the result — it drops straight into an editable box.

Most people don't have a "better email" problem. They have a "never get around to sending 100 of them" problem. This fixes that one.

One brief feeds the writer; every prospect gets their own name, site and opener. (Recipient names shown for illustration.)
III · the use case

How I use it for link building.

Link building is the perfect job for this, because it's the same move at scale: find relevant sites, pitch them your content, ask for a link.

Here's the real campaign I built for this guide — live in the tool as a draft right now.

I'd just published a new blog post on the AI Profit Boardroom site — the Hermes Agent MoA guide. So I pointed the outreach at SEO and content agencies whose readers care about AI, and asked the AI to pitch them a link.

Link Building — Hermes MoA Blogdraft

Pitching the Hermes MoA blog post · subject "link idea for your AI readers" · personalised per site

userp.io beomniscient.com siegemedia.com seo.co ignitevisibility.com seranking.com firstpagesage.com clutch.co

Eight relevant, validated targets. One AI-written pitch that names each site. A draft sitting there ready — no copy-paste, no merge-field fiddling.

From here it's two clicks: Create drafts to eyeball every email in Gmail first, then Send batch to start — a safe number a day, so the inbox stays healthy.

Thinking it? "Mass link-building emails get marked as spam."

That's why the tool validates every address first (bad ones get skipped), keeps you to a daily cap, and trips a breaker if bounces spike.

And every email has a real opt-out — which actually helps your deliverability, because fewer complaints means the inbox keeps trusting you.

IV · use it for anything

Lead gen, cold email, follow-ups — same engine.

A wide field of small glowing doorways for different kinds of businesses, with a personalised golden letter flying toward each one — outreach reaching many different prospects at once

Link building was one example. The exact same flow — describe it, the AI writes it, it personalises and sends — works for any outreach you do.

Here are three more, with the real emails the AI wrote for each. Same one-line brief in, ready-to-send email out.

1 · Lead generation — booking calls with new clients

You type: "I build AI agents that handle a team's repetitive work — lead gen, content, reporting. Cold outreach to ecom and SaaS founders, offering a free 20-min teardown of where AI could save them hours. Goal: book the call."

hours back for your team
Hi {{first_name}}, Saw {{domain}} and figured you're probably buried in the kind of repetitive work that scales with growth — {{reason}}. I build AI agents that quietly handle lead gen, content and reporting so your team stops doing it by hand. Happy to do a free 20-min teardown showing exactly where you could claw back hours each week — no pitch, just specifics. Worth a quick look? Julian

2 · Cold email — partnerships & collaborations

You type: "I run the AI Profit Boardroom (3,600+ founders building with AI). Reaching out to AI and business creators + newsletters for a cross-promo, a guest workshop, or an affiliate partnership. Friendly, peer-to-peer."

Your audience feels like a great fit. Thinking a cross-promo, a guest workshop, or an affiliate partnership — whatever works for you. Open to a quick chat to figure out what makes sense? Julian
Reply STOP to opt out · one-click unsubscribe header attached · tags fill per recipient

3 · The follow-up — the email that gets the reply

You type: "A short follow-up to a cold email they didn't reply to. One light bump, add a concrete reason to reply, no guilt-tripping."

The email the AI wrote — step 2, the bump✦ written by AI
From: Julian · hermes@goldie.agencyTo: {{first_name}} at {{domain}}
quick bump, {{first_name}}
Hey {{first_name}}, floating this back up. Saw {{reason}} again and figured it was worth one more nudge. I put together a quick idea for {{domain}} I think you'd actually use. Happy to send it over — no strings. Worth a quick look? Julian
Reply STOP to opt out · one-click unsubscribe header attached · tags fill per recipient

Same tool. Same five minutes. The only thing that changes is the one line you type about what you're pitching.

Thinking it? "Won't every email come out sounding the same?"

Look at those three — a teardown offer, a partnership feeler, a soft bump. Different angle, different length, different ask.

The AI writes from your brief, so the email matches the job. Change the brief, change the email.

V · the safe part

Every email can opt out — automatically.

A glowing golden shield with a padlock, envelopes flowing safely past it while one turns away and dissolves — an opt-out — representing protected, compliant sending

Cold email has rules, and getting them wrong burns your domain.

So this is built in, on every single send, with nothing for you to remember.

Each email gets a plain-English line — "reply STOP and I won't email you again" — plus a one-click Unsubscribe button that Gmail and Outlook show at the top.

And here's the loop that protects you: if someone replies STOP or unsubscribe, the tool reads it, marks them suppressed, and they never get another email from you. Ever. You can also opt anyone out by hand with one click.

They reply "STOP"or unsubscribe Tool reads iton inbox refresh Suppressednever emailed again
The opt-out loop runs itself — a STOP reply means that person is off your list for good.

VI · old way vs new way

Why this changes link building.

Doing it by hand
~6 hrs / 100
  • Dig for prospects in a dozen tabs
  • Guess which emails are even real
  • Write the same pitch 100 times over
  • Copy-paste names in, hope you didn't slip up
  • Forget the unsubscribe line and risk the domain
  • Send 12, get tired, never finish the list
Hermes Outreach
~20 min
  • Find + enrich prospects in the tool
  • Validate every address — bad ones skipped
  • Describe the campaign once, AI writes the email
  • Every send personalised automatically
  • Opt-out + unsubscribe header on every email
  • Send a safe batch a day until the list is done

By hand — write + merge each one~6 hrs
Hermes Outreach — brief → AI writes → send~20 min
Same 100 personalised emails. The writing and merging is the part the AI takes off you. (Rough, from real runs — your mileage varies.)
VII · three beliefs to drop

What's holding you back.

Wrong: "Outreach is grunt work I just have to grind through."

Right: The grind was the writing and the merging. The AI does both now — you describe the campaign, it writes a personalised email for every prospect. You're left with the part that matters: who to reach and what to offer.

Wrong: "AI cold emails are generic and get ignored."

Right: Generic comes from a lazy template. This opens with the prospect's own site and a real, specific ask — written from your brief, filled in per person. It reads like you sat down and wrote it, because it's your pitch in plain words.

Wrong: "Sending cold email at scale will get my domain blacklisted."

Right: Only if you skip the basics. This validates addresses, caps your daily sends, trips a breaker on bounces, and puts a real opt-out on every email — the exact things that keep a sending domain healthy.

Don't take my word for it

I'm not going to paste invented quotes here. The wins are real and written by the members themselves — agency owners, ecom founders, course creators, solo operators across 38 countries. Read them in their own words.

VIII · do it yourself

Run your first campaign in five steps.

Open the Outreach tab in the Agent OS and follow along.

1Find + enrichyour prospects in the Leads tab
2Validateonly deliverable addresses go through
3Describe itone line: what you're pitching
4Write with AIone button — the email's done
5Preview → Senddraft to Gmail, then a batch a day

1. Find + enrich. Drop in your prospects (or let it find them) in the Leads tab.

2. Validate. Hit "Validate addresses" — only the deliverable ones become sendable.

3. Describe the campaign. In the builder, type what you're pitching in the "What's this campaign about?" box.

4. Write the email with AI. One button. Tweak the result if you want.

5. Preview → Create drafts → Send batch. The live preview shows the exact email to a real person. Draft them into Gmail to eyeball, then send a batch a day.

Thinking it? "Doesn't running Agent OS burn a fortune in tokens?"

No — that's the biggest myth about it. Agent OS runs the everyday 90% on a free local model on your own machine, free APIs slot in for more, and for the frontier work — like writing these emails — it drives the CLIs you already pay for: your Claude subscription already includes the Claude CLI, and Agent OS plugs straight into it, so you're not paying twice. It's a layer on top of what you already own. And inside the AI Profit Boardroom there are full token-optimisation tutorials, so you cut usage to the bone and never think about it again.

the recap

The whole thing in five lines.

i.

You stopped writing. Describe the campaign once; the AI writes the actual email.

ii.

You stopped merging. Every send is personalised with the prospect's name, site and business.

iii.

You stopped guessing. Addresses are validated, so dead emails never get sent.

iv.

You stopped risking your domain. Opt-out + unsubscribe on every email, auto-suppression on STOP.

v.

You actually finish the list. A safe batch a day until your link-building outreach is done.

You describe it. The AI writes it. You send it.

your move

Stop grinding outreach. Let the AI write it.

The slowest part of link building was never the strategy — it was sitting down to write a hundred emails. That part is solved.

Inside the AI Profit Boardroom you get the full Agent OS — Hermes Outreach with the AI writer, lead finding + validation, the opt-out engine, and the whole dashboard that runs your agents on memory and shared context. You get the zip file, every prompt, the setup, and coaching calls where we wire it in together. 3,600+ founders across 38 countries are building inside it right now, and every new tool I ship — like this outreach writer — lands there the week it's done.
